Penggunaan Some DAN any

 Peace be on you all ^_^

Some dan any itu bisa diartikan sama yaitu sama-sama mempunyai arti “beberapa” namun ada perbedaan mendasar dari dua kata ini. Pada dasarnya some itu digunakan dalam kalimat positif sedangkan any digunakan dalam kalimat negatif dan kalimat tanya

Contoh :
I have some ideas.
I don’t have any ideas.
Do you have any ideas?
Akan tetapi penggunaan kata some bisa juga diletakkan dalam suatu kalimat tanya dengan artian pertanyaan yang dituju itu merupakan kalimat bentuk penawaran.

Contoh :
Would you like some ice cream ?
Some dalam kalimat tanya juga dapat dibuat tapi dengan syarat penawaran tersebut mempunyai pilihan jawaban yang terbatas.

Contoh :
Can I get you something to drink? Coffee or tea?
Sebaliknya penggunaan any dalam kalimat tanya mempunyai pilihan jawaban yang tak terbatas.

Contoh :
Would you like anything to drink?
Do you have any questions?
Nah dari contoh di atas jawaban dari kedua pertanyaan tersebut bermacam-macam bentuk dan jenisnya, dan kita juga tidak bisa membatasi berapa jumlah dan bentuknya. Any juga bisa digunakan dalam kalimat postif akan tetapi kalimat positif tersebut dimaksudkan untuk menentang. Untuk membuat kalimat pertentangan dalam kalimat positif bisa juga menggunakan kata seperti without, never dan hardly

Contoh :
There’s hardly any petrol left in my car
Jaka went out without any money on him.
Mariska never has any problem understanding

Perbadaan Many, Much, a lot of

Use and Differences Many, Much, and a lot ofMany people are confused about the many, much and a lot of. Many, Much, and a lot of it together has meant "a lot". But many, much and a lot of has its own differences in their use include:

 1. Many are used for objects that can be counted (countable noun)

 Example:Many peopleMany booksMany laptopsMany bagsNoteworthy is that after the use of many words, the writing must be shaped plural noun in the plural alias

 2. Much is used for objects that can not be counted, and to calculate required a dose / weight and a certain size.

 Example:Much moneyMuch sugarMuch loveMuch waterMuch flourMuch timeTo note here is that after the use of the word much, the writing must be singular noun and not dijamak.

3. The use of many and much is generally used for words and sentences asked denial / negative. Well then how to use positive words? In general, for the positive use of the word a lot. A lot of this could be used for a countable noun or uncountable noun. So we are free to use nouns regardless noun can be counted or not counted.
